My goodness, loves, it’s already the middle of February! One day, I will catch up on these, I swear. We just shot the fix for this month, so I should be able to have that up in a week or so. With everything getting away from me during the end of last year, beginning of this year, I didn’t have a moment to reach out to my stylist to request certain things, so it was all kind of up in the air for December and January! Which isn’t always a bad thing, as, spoiler alert, I ended up keeping everything from January’s fix, except for a defective item, more on that later. Read on to check out the rest of my January Stitch Fix!
Sweater, scarf & pants / Stitch Fix // Booties / Target
Loved this scarf as soon as I took it out of the box! The colors (baby blue, navy, and merlot), were so unique to me and it is SO soft. I paired it with this elbow-patch sweater and burgundy sateen pants from the fix. The pants were too large, so I ended up exchanging them for a smaller size. The sweater, I thought, was honestly hideous. It clung in all of the wrong places, was baggy in others, and the patches came down almost to my wrists when my arms were at my sides. I wrote Stitch Fix before cashing out to let them know the conundrum and they extended to me a one time courtesy of the 25% discount for keeping only 4 of the items, since I believed one of them to be defective.
Scarf, $28, kept; pants, $68, kept; sweater, $58, returned (defective).
Cardigan / Stitch Fix // Tank / Everlane // Leggings / Target // Slip-Ons / ASOS (similar)
I’ve been trying to find a way to rock the athleisure trend without feeling like a slob, and this outfit pretty much got me there. The lace-up ballet-inspired leggings paired with the open cardigan could easily take me from a tea date with a girlfriend to yoga to the grocery store. I’ve also worn it over a tank top to work, so this cardi definitely has versatility.
Cardigan, $48 kept.
Wrap blouse (worn as a blazer) / Stitch Fix // Top / Nordstrom Rack (similar) // Jeans / Just Black from a previous fix (similar) // Flats / Vince Camuto (similar) // Necklace / My French Farm
I think this “blazer” was my favorite piece from the fix. It can be paired with an LBD, blouse and pants or a tank and jeans. When I tried to button it, it had this weird bunching around the chest but it wasn’t too snug, so I just decided to wear it open.
So all in all, a great fix. I actually wore the floral blazer to work earlier this week and the pants in another look recently, so I’m definitely getting the most out of these items. I hope you enjoyed my January Stitch Fix, until next time! 😀
