Over the past few years, I’ve accumulated quite a selection of shiny, colorful neck adornments that could be classified as “statement” pieces. They range from trendy bubble necklaces from J.Crew to rainbow crystals and layers of mixed metal chains shipped to me after hours of combing eBay (glass of wine in hand).
In addition to admittedly having too many, storage of these beauties has been a long-standing issue. Lay them flat and they take up a ton of room. Hang them on hooks and they bang into each other and risk scratches and losing crystals every time you sort through them to find the desired piece. My solution? Heavy-duty but still attractive wooden hangers. You can see every item, they’re easy to get on and off, and because of the curved ends of the hanger, they don’t scrape against the wall. And, they’re just too pretty to hide in a box!
